Queen Below

War in the dark beneath the roots

You are the queen. Hundreds of ant empires share the same land, and none of them can see the others. Dig a maze, find their nests first, and feel the earth tremble when they come for yours.

Nobody can see your nest.
Until they scout it.

Underground there is no fog to lift and no map to buy. Every nest is hidden. You learn where your rivals live by sending scouts, and you learn they are coming by the tremor in the soil.

Dig your own maze

Draw every tunnel with your finger and place storerooms, nurseries, Fungus Gardens and barracks wherever you like. Raiders always come in through your gate and must find their way in the dark.

In a one-tile tunnel only the front two ants can fight. A garrison at a chokepoint holds off an army twice its size.

A tremor warning across the nest screen

Feel them coming

When unknown troops march into your sensing ring, the ground shakes. You get their direction and strength, never their name, unless you have fought them before and remember their scent.

Warning time = sensing radius ÷ enemy speed. Upgrade your Antenna Chamber and you hear them sooner.

The world map with food sites, marches and discovered nests

Find them first

Send a scout to survey any spot on the surface: every nest within 12 tiles appears on your map. Sneak scouts inside and they bring back a partial map of the tunnels and an estimate of the food in storage.

Food sites are carcasses on the surface: caterpillar, grasshopper, beetle. The richest lie in the dangerous inner ring.

Replay of a raid inside an enemy nest

Raid, then watch every move

Choose up to three generals and a tactic: plunder the storerooms, hunt the queen, or advance with caution. The battle is fought inside the defender's real nest, and both sides can watch the replay.

Raid a much weaker nest and your loot shrinks. Lose a storeroom and your nest gets a shield.

Hunt the forest floor

Inchworms, termite swarms, centipedes, wolf spiders, rhinoceros beetles, and a few praying mantises that rule each realm. Send a general to hunt: they earn XP without raiding anyone, and the carcass becomes your own food site for two hours.

The first win at each prey level opens a First Victory Chest with Amber.

Take the fight into the Wild Burrows

Three burrows, ten depths each: the Termite Mound, the Centipede Hollow and the Wolf Spider Den. Here you command up to three squads yourself. Draw their path through the dark, time every skill, and bring down the pack leader before five minutes run out.

Three tickets a day, used only when you win. Generals are never wounded in the burrows.

Four species. Four generals.

Pick one to found your empire. Royal eggs hatch the others.

Never alone

Join an alliance to see your allies' nests, get word when they feel a tremor and help them build faster. Allies never raid each other, and their marches cause no tremors.

Chat with the whole realm or just your alliance. Offensive words are filtered, and you can block or report anyone.

Questions

Will I lose my empire if I change phones or reinstall?

Not if you sign in with Game Center (iPhone, iPad) or Google Play Games (Android): your empire follows that account. If you play as a guest, your empire lives only on this device; link an account in Settings → Account before switching.

Can I move from iPhone to Android?

Not yet. Apple and Google accounts are separate. We'll add an account transfer code in a later update.

Why can't I see other nests on the map?

Underground, nobody sees anyone's nest. Send a scout to survey a spot: every nest within 12 tiles will appear on your map. Allies ranked Worker or above can see each other's nests.

How do I know someone is about to attack?

When strangers enter your sensing range, the earth trembles: you get their direction and strength about 1–3 minutes before they arrive. A higher Antenna Chamber warns you sooner. Turn on notifications to be warned even when the game is closed.

What do I lose when I'm raided?

Each storeroom taken loses 25% of its food; a nursery taken loses 30% of its eggs. If your queen falls, 20% more is taken from the remaining storerooms. Food in the queen's safe store can never be stolen. Half of the soldiers who die defending recover.

What is a shield and when do I get one?

Nobody can raid or scout a shielded nest. New nests get a 72-hour beginner shield (or until Queen Chamber 6). Losing a storeroom gives a 1-hour shield; if your queen falls, 8 hours. Sending a raid removes your shield (scouting and hunting don't).

Why has my food stopped growing?

When storerooms are full, gardens and Aphid Pens stop producing. Spend food (hatching, upgrades) or build more storerooms. Full storerooms also attract raiders.

Why can't I upgrade or build?

Check that you have enough food and free workers; that you're under the job limit (2 at Queen Chamber 1–4, 3 at 5–9, 4 from 10); each chamber type has a maximum count by Queen Chamber level; no chamber can outrank the Queen Chamber. From level 6, the Queen Chamber also needs storerooms and nurseries to keep up.

My general is wounded. Will it die?

Each time a general falls in battle against another nest it takes a wound (−10% health and damage); one wound heals every 4 hours. Falling with 2 wounds sends it to the Graveyard for 7 days. Revive it with food (it returns 24 hours later) or with a Revive Card (at once). If not revived within 7 days, it's gone for good. Hunting and the Wild Burrows never cause wounds.

How do I get more generals?

Your queen lays royal eggs: one guaranteed at Queen Chamber 3 and at 5, then regularly (one every 48 hours, faster at higher levels). The guaranteed eggs at 3 and 5 always hatch a general you don't have yet. Later eggs hatch in 10 minutes into a random general: a duplicate gives that general XP, and if that general lies in the Graveyard, it comes back to life.

What does an alliance give me?

Allies ranked Worker or above see each other's nests and get word when an ally feels a tremor. Allies help each other build faster and share a chat channel. Allies can't raid or scout each other, and allied troops passing by cause no tremor.

I joined an alliance, so why can't I see my allies' nests?

Newcomers start at the Larva rank. Once the alliance's Queen or a General promotes you to Worker, you'll see every member's nest.

Someone is abusive in chat. What can I do?

Tap their name to open their profile: Block them to hide their messages (on all your devices), or Report the message for our team to review. Your block list is in Settings → Account.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete account, then type your empire's name to confirm. The account is locked for 7 days before it's deleted for good; sign in within those 7 days and you'll be asked whether to cancel. After 7 days it can't be restored. Alliance Queens must hand over the crown first.

I found a bug. Where do I report it?

Settings → Support → Feedback / report a bug. The game attaches your player ID, version and device. Describe what you did and what you saw; a screenshot helps.

What do I get from hunting? Is there a limit?

Tap a prey on the map and send one general with their soldiers; the fight happens right there on the surface. Win, and the general earns XP, the squad carries food home, the carcass becomes your own food site for 2 hours, and you may find Speed-ups, termite pupae or a Revive Card. Each day the first 20 hunts give full rewards; after that, food only. Defeat a prey level to unlock the next one.

What are the Wild Burrows?

Your own burrows: lead up to 3 squads yourself through dark tunnels and defeat the pack leader within 5 minutes. There are 3 burrows of 10 depths each, unlocking at Queen Chamber 3, 5 and 7. You get 3 tickets a day, used only when you win. The first clear of each depth gives a First Victory Chest with Amber.

What are the weekly events, and when?

Two events every week (UTC): Hunting Season from Monday to the end of Wednesday, and Termite Swarm on Saturday and Sunday. The event button on the left of the nest screen shows what's on and how long is left.

How does Hunting Season scoring work?

Each prey you defeat gives 10 points × its level, and each Wild Burrows depth you clear gives 30 points, up to 600 points a day. Reach 200, 500, 900, 1,400 and 1,800 points to open the 5 milestone chests.

What if the event ends before I open my chests?

Chests you earned but didn't open are sent to your Mail and kept for 3 days. Claim them within those 3 days, or they're gone.
